Pontiglio Winery

Our winery is located in Lefkimmi in the southern part of Corfu. Pontiglio is an old Corfiot word, of Venetian origin that means stubbornness. Our stubbornness since the 1980s, when subsidies for vineyards (!!) were being issued and Corfu's vineyard was in danger of extinction, led us to continue the tradition. also, in Xenophon Athinaios, in Mnasipos and in Byzantine texts. An area that had its own unique varieties of wine grapes that are cultivated to this day.That is why our winery specializes in the cultivation of only these varieties and in the production of unique unique wines. kakotrygis and the stone stone, white wine grapes and the Skopelitiko, black wine grapes.
