This wine is made exclusively from selected grapes from the private “Vineyard ...211” situated in a historic location* within the wine producing region of Mantineia** well-known for the renowned Moschofilero variety.
The altitude of 700m, the plot with a slight slope, the sandy clay soil, and the microclimate of the area, all combined with our meticulous cultivation, give us top quality grapes. From these we only take the initial pressures, and with scholastic and deliberate vinification we capture only the best for our wine “Vineyard ...211”.

* Its location is only a few hundred meters away from the Ancient Theater of Orchomenos in Arcadia, dedicated to Dionysus (the god of wine).
** Homer refers to Mantineia as Polyambelo (lots of vines), and Pausanias in his travels finds Mantineia heavily planted with vineyards
