Doric Orange White dry wine 750mL
Grape variety: Mountainous Roditis and Malagouzia
Description:
It comes from the varieties malagouzia (white variety, gentle) and mountainous roditis, (a rare branch of roditis which has a strong ruby color). The wine is rich in aromas and delicate in taste. Unlike other white wines that must be consumed within a year, this one has the ability to age due to the technique that is vinified, resulting in being richer in organic ingredients and having a brighter color. (Winemaking with extraction of 5-7 days depending on the year, as described in detail in the next paragraph Production Details). It is traditionally vinified together with the marcs in open oak tanks with the use of fir branches and river stones at the top, to protect the grape pulp from oxidation. This practice naturally secretes a small amount of fir resin into the must. Fir resin will add antiseptic protection, texture and some flavor to the wine, giving it a unique seal. Nothing is added (the wine is without chemicals, sulfites, stabilizers, etc.).
