Variety Composition
Grenache Rouge 75% / Overripe Merlot 25%
Wine Making
Grenache Rouge is a variety known for two things: its strong fruity taste and intensity of its aromas. The Merlot, ‘left in the vine for the passers-by’ reaches its zenith in terms of sugar intensity before the scissors of the harvest worker brings it into the pneumatic press. The blend of these two varieties gives a dynamic demi-sec Rosé wine with a particularly strong personality.
Wine Characteristics
An inviting rose pink color, soft aromas of red flowers, caramel and strawberry, and a full buttery mouth, with soft sweetness and a refreshing acidity.
Serving Recommendations
Served at 8-10°C. Pairs well with red-sauced chicken, and with fruits and light deserts such as cheesecake and pana cotta. Can also be enjoyed as a fresh aperitif. This is a wine for the young and for those who feel young.
