Winemaking
The solely oranically cultivated now 10year old vineyard surrounds our winery in Trilofos where all the three varieties are planted in the same vineyard adn are harvested and fermented together. In order to create a light yet aromatic well sturctured "Nouveau'style" Red Wine, the grapes were kept only a short time in the red wine mash tank, just enough to extract the color, lighter aromas and light tannins from the berry. Then the it is moved to 225ltr Barriques where they are fermented relatively fast with subsuequent malolactic fermentation and six months of barrel ageing.
Eye-Nose-Palate
The wine has a ruby red color. Forest berries, rasberry and prunes are the firest aroma notes that can be distinguished which last until the finish. They are accompanied by light notes of orange peel, bisquit, rounded off by notes of vanilla and dark chocolate which can be tasted long after the finish. Despite of its rather large aroma bouquet it is a very harmonic fresh dry red wine.
